The anniversary of 9/11 …

The anniversary of 9/11 always serves as a reminder to me to be vigilant about not becoming a victim of normalcy bias — a state of denial people enter into when facing a potential disaster. But I can only manage normalcy bias on a micro level.
On a macro level, the power and influence of the United States is, by design, being dismantled at an accelerating pace. In theory, I’m for open borders and zero violence, but in the real world theory must always be subordinated to reality. And the reality is that the consequences of U.S. foreign and domestic policies are going to be horrific somewhere down the road.
Anyone who can’t see needs to do some serious boning up on the phenomenon of normalcy bias.
