Television’s nastiest news anchor …

Television’s nastiest news anchor, the shrieking Megyn Kelly, outdid herself last night.

Still smarting over the fact that Donald Trump made an ass out of her when she tried to make herself part of the Fox News presidential debate back in August, and undoubtedly embarrassed that as a result she’s the only Fox anchor on whose show he will never appear, Kelly threw a tantrum about how ridiculous it was that the media was spending more time on Trump’s ban-Muslims remarks than on San Bernardino and the overall war on terrorism.

After tongue-lashing the rest of the media for not being up to her journalistic standards, she indignantly grumbled, “We will not be devoting an hour or a half hour or 20 minutes to what Trump said tonight.”

Then, embarrassingly, like a middle-school girl in a tizzy, she proceeded to take several more subtle shots at Trump throughout her show. She simply couldn’t control herself. It’s really disappointing that Roger Ailes doesn’t take her to the woodshed and give her an ultimatum: “Grow up or be demoted to MSNBC.”

As I think I’ve said before, I’m totally in synch with Bill Ayers on this one. He was spot on when he said of Kelly, after his interview with her, “She struck me as a very strange person. She’s like a cyborg constructed in the basement of Fox News.”

Leaving Kelly in the starting lineup with super talented, beautiful, soft-edged Shannon Bream waiting in the wings is like the hapless Cleveland Browns keeping Johnny Manziel on the bench.
Now that the Browns have apparently wised up, it’s time for Fox News to do the same.
