The Joy of Self-cannibalization

Posted on January 31, 2017 by Robert Ringer

The Radical Left’s reaction to Donald Trump’s executive orders (actually, to his mere existence) is becoming more remarkable by the day. It’s inconceivable to Trump haters that he has dared to become the first president in modern times to do exactly what he said he would do if he were elected president.

In the criminal world of the Demopublican establishment, this is nothing short of heresy. After all, it could lead to their constituents expecting them to keep (Gasp!) their campaign promises.

That said, what were the immediate results of the implementation of Donald Trump’s world-ending, extreme-vetting executive order? To be precise, 109 people were temporarily detained to make sure that the safety of 320 million Americans was not unnecessarily endangered. After being vetted, all 109 were released within 48 hours.

Perhaps a bit of an inconvenience to them, but there were scores of people inconvenienced with a loss of life in terrorists shooting galleries like Boston, San Bernardino, and Orlando, and I can’t seem to recall Chuckie Schumer shedding tears for the victims of those radical Islamic terrorist attacks. When a guy is willing to resort to faking tears in a situation like this, he’s a serious candidate for the Harry Reid Deplorables Award.

Trump haters, becoming asphyxiated by their own teeth-gnashing, hate-mongering, and over-the-top drama truly cannot comprehend the fact that America just had a presidential election — preceded by 18 months of campaigning! — and that an electoral majority overwhelmingly voted for the very policies that Donald Trump has barely begun to implement.

Fortunately, we have a national screening system in this country that penalizes those who peddle in hatred, lies, and omission of important news. The system I am referring to is called voting. Even though what it amounts to is tyranny of the majority, “Democracy,” as Winston Churchill pointed out, “is the worst form of government, except for all the others.” Translation: Life isn’t perfect, so deal with it.

What I find especially enjoyable about all this is that the scoundrels on the left are so out of touch that they don’t even realize that they are cannibalizing themselves. Sort of like the shrew, the tiniest of all mammals, which weighs less than a dime. The shrew is a voracious eater, and when he’s hungry enough and there is no other prey around, he’s capable of eating himself to death — literally — starting with his own tail.

Assuming they keep going full steam ahead with their childish, apoplectic behavior — these human-like shrews can expect to be punished severely in the 2018 mid-terms. But rest assured that these narcissistic miscreants have no such expectations, because they really and truly believe that, deep down, most Americans really support their views and, if not, that it’s their moral duty to help them see the light.

In closing, here’s a scary thought: If demented, hateful folks are still in shock over the results of the 2016 elections, can you imagine what their reaction will be in 2018 if the Republicans achieve a filibuster-proof 60-seat majority in the Senate and, say, a 300-135 advantage in the House?

Fasten your seat belt. This could get to be a lot more fun than any of us could have imagined.

A shameless post in support of your position sir!

    • Too bad that you feel this way. You obviously have already started cannibalizing your head. Have at it!

I am also sameless as I am having way too much fun watching these Utopian Theistic Satanic Paeanistic Cult of Red Fascists Elites and Swells loose control of their body functions as they attempt to win a battle that they have lost… they are in a hole and to my surprise they just keep digging …

I'm looking forward to bringing some sense back to the nation. I live in the worst of loony land where they keep trying to generalize illegal immigration into all immigration and claim it's a human right to come to the US. You can't debate with a stupid person.
And as I heard on a T Harv Eker audio book, as emotion increases, intelligence decreases. I'm seeing that with some of my middle-aged women friends. They claim they're doing their research and raising awareness. They don't realize the only thing they're making people aware of is how stupid, angry, bitter, idiotic they look.
Thank goodness they have the first amendment…..I think. (kidding)

The great thing about conflict is that it compels those at the vanguard to sharpen wit; to focus energy; to define purpose. Conflict strengthens one while weakening or destroying the adversary. Conservatism has been under assault for over 50 years now. It's time we dug in our heels and started pulling – individually and collectively. The experience will make us stronger people; better citizens. What we have lacked in all these decades, with the exception of the Reagan years, was leadership to point us in the right direction and give us a sense of common purpose. Mr. Trump has given us hope that, perhaps, there is a chance. Let the left eat itself. I'll supply the salt.

The swamp dwellers in DC are not going to go quietly.

  5. Rick G says:

Chuck Schumer looked pretty ridiculous working up those crocodile tears. Just as Nobama would work up a good "boo-oo" in hopes of getting some silly point across. I liked how Nobama would turn his head sideways so the press camera would zero in a close-up so everybody wouldn't miss the tears rolling down.

  6. Rick G says:

Good for President Trump for firing the acting attorney general, Sally Yates. Right on! That's what she gets for opening her big yap! That's called, "draining the swamp". Another campaign promise fulfilled! President Trump is awesome!!!

    • Rob says:

It's really only a baby step to draining, according to an FBI memo there is corruption in every level of government. He is going god though and there are no rights allowing people to come in, that's why they're 'illegal' immigrants. Nothing like my grandparents who came to Ellis Island. These have no desire to assimilate.

Mr. Ringer, I commend your original, provocative essays. Sadly, original thoughts don't come easy for me…so I take my opportunity to 'ditto' you by introducing another quote from a fave, C. S. Lewis: "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive."

  8. Mike S. says:

Good column, Robert. Don't forget a big part of the problem is George "Mr. Anarchy" Soros, who is organizing and funding the protesters and ACLU lawyers.

  9. anne hanlon says:

thank you for a great comment if only the stupid people we call democrats would stop the foolish methods they are using pretending with tears we had enough of Clintons and Obamas acting like children who could not get their way grownups acting without thought.. They lost so what finally a man in office who is following thru with hopes he continues to do what he promised. the sad part we who are aware of the many problems in country our grownup children have not socialism in the colleges is rampart we need to start with grammar school and check eduction taught much luck to the new person who will change the me to making our youth love the country. It is possible with good education

  10. IHeartDagney says:

One small correction that bears repeating until people start to really understand that they've been miseducated….we are NOT a democracy. If we actually were a democracy (or, as I like to call it, a MOBocracy), Hillary Clinton would be president, elected by the states of California and New York. Donald J. Trump, THANKFULLY, is president because we are a REPUBLIC.

Another little tidbit, if I may be so bold. If the votes of California were removed, Trump would have also won the popular vote by 1.4 million. Think it might now be worth it to investigate the illegal vote?

    • theczech says:

No question about it. Even though my county here in California is pretty darn good in upholding the integrity of the vote, not all are. In fact, many of the most populous counties in California are corrupt to the core in regard to elections.

I believe a true, blue panel investigation will reveal that there were at least 1m illegal votes cast in California alone in this last election.

      • ◄Dave► says:

At least… I have several (legal) immigrant acquaintances, who were surprised several years ago to receive their polling place notifications and sample ballots in the mail, after merely applying for their driver's licenses (Motor Voter). To them, it was just another privilege that came with their green cards. Now that State law permits and encourages all illegal immigrants to obtain a CA driver's license, and millions have, the number of illegal peasants (even innocently) voting, because the government tells them they can and should, must be staggering. ◄Dave►

        • Lana says:

I think the ability to obtain a driver's license should only be available after they have filed the necessary paperwork to be a legal immigrant. How can we, as American citizens, pass a law or bring this about? I have no clue, but hope someone out there does. The fact that they have a driver's license and no other documentation should not permit them to vote……yikes!

          • Texas Wolfie says:

I think the ability to drive a motor vehicle should also be paramount for a driver's license. Up in Dallas there are driving schools helping all kinds of immigrants to obtain a drivers license, and some of those drivers have no clue what the English traffic signs mean! Needless accidents every rush hour! Congratulations moron liberals.

        • Jim Hallett says:

As the home of sanctuary cities, and regulation-free immigration, it does not surprise me that CA has so much illegal voting as well. Since it is so large a state, it's mere numbers overwhelm any other state's influence. While it has always leaned to the Left, it was not nearly so radical during the years I lived there (1974-1988), but several decades of indoctrination from govt. and media have created this monstrosity. It does need to be broken down into at least 2 separate states. The sad thing is the place is so doggone beautiful and easily the best climate, so I hate to just relinquish it to the Libtards!

  11. We have in India all opposition parties arrayed against Modi. They have tried all kinds of tricks, lies, intellectual versbosity etc. for the last 3 years but to no avail. How can a leader elected democratically by the people be stopped from doing what said he would do if elected? Is it a crime to do the promises to people? i thought it is happening only in Inda but I am disappointed the American politics is no different. We have seen this drama failing in India and I hope the same happens in the USA too.

    • IHeartDagney says:

Hello from California! Human nature is human nature. There are people who despise the rule of law and people who love the rule of law. Just like there are people who wish to be left alone and people who wish to force people to do their bidding. I believe it is the same everywhere. If you have a system that combats the evil wishes of most, that is good. Our republic does that and has, so far, survived almost 250 years. Still, the evil people have learned how to circumvent the system. That is why everyone must be vigilant.

  12. Joan Ferrante says:

I love the fact that the liberal left is in dire need of wearing adult diapers!!!! Ya can't beat it! Way to go President Donald J. Trump.God bless you & yours always!!

  13. Meg says:

I am shocked by the amount of contempt and just plain nastiness in this post heaped upon those who disagree. This has nothing to do with views held. It has to do with maintaining civil discourse. Those who disagree are also citizens who have arrived at their beliefs sincerely through their own personal processes just the same as those here. Both sides have legitimate points and legitimate issues which they passionately care about. Only by granting others the respect of seriously listening to and considering their concerns can the necessary compromises of a large, diverse democratic nation be brought about. Name calling and insults only serve to further split an already divided country and drive various factions into more deaf, stubborn intransigence which helps no one. A little courtesy please.

    • ◄Dave► says:

"Shocked?" I doubt that you are that naive, Meg. Politics is, and always has been, a blood sport in America. Try posting this sentiment on a typical Leftist/Marxist website, sputtering contempt and nastiness toward Trump's supporters. I'd be willing to bet that you will find it treated more civilly hereabouts.

"Diverse democratic nation?" Please read the comment by @IHeartDagney above. If you are unaware of the difference between a democracy(mobocracy) and a republic, Google should be able to elucidate it for you.

"Both sides…necessary compromises…divided country?" You reveal a stultifying partisan viewpoint. Widen your field of view, and you will notice that more adults in America don't (can't, won't, none-of-the-above) vote than do, yet the rabid partisans presume the authority to empower rulers, to regulate the daily lives of everyone. Courteous or not, this contumacious curmudgeon non-voter rejects that presumption, and am enjoying the hell out of Trump's bull stampede through the DC china shop. Those with their knickers in a twist over him doing exactly what he promised to do, just add to my entertainment. 😉 ◄Dave►

      • Jim Hallett says:

You point out the obvious difference, Dave, in that the Leftist radicals are not content with me or anyone else having our views, but rather they are only satisfied if they can enforce their agenda on me, and steal from me to do so. I constantly hear references to democracy, and NONE of our Founders wanted a Mobocracy, and surely, it does not entitle the majority to enslave any minority. I am not trying to restrict any Libtard, other than when they destroy another's person or property, or when they promote stealing and coercion in their adoption of their agenda. There are many socialist democracies in the world where these folks would be much happier, and I would like to see them go there, and take traitor George Soros and most of Hollywood with them!!

    • Rob says:

They lost, deal with it. To be more civil, not too long ago I was telling a friend about guns (rifles). I was a sniper and know a bit. He had the mistaken view of an assault rifle. I won't bother you with that. I could see he was both afraid and uninterested. I asked what he was going to do if he had intruders. DUH I did tell him about a flashlight that had astrobe built in. If he was very lucky he could run away. For a year I tried to get through to these snowflakes, all had the same pod people look. The media never told you about the 15 rioters who were hospitalized on the 21st. Bikers don't play, I was one.

    • Texas Wolfie says:

Civil Discourse? Are you serious? Have you heard the crap coming out of the mouths of your contemporaries? Have you read their signs?? Hypocrite.

    • Jean says:

Yeah Meg, I see all of that "civil discourse" emanating from the Left. The destruction of property, smashing windows in of all places, Starbucks (one of your side's biggest funders). And I suppose those pussy hats and vagina-festooned apparel were designed to be civil. Oh yes, let's not forget all of the civliity oozing from Madonna and the Judd women. They should be our role models.

As for me, I will still propose to initiate post-birth abortions on any snowflake who attempts to loot, violate or destroy my property or my person. It may not be "civil" but it IS effective.

  14. harley says:

You can lead a liberal to the facts…. but you can't make them think!

  15. Rocketman says:

I continue to insist that they ONLY WAY that we are going to avoid having a civil war with a million or 10 deaths is to split up the country. I suggest 3 parts in the continental U.S. The extreme left gets the left and right coasts, the Libertarians get Wyoming, Montana and Idaho and the Trump supporters get the middle. It's the only thing that makes any sense at all.

  16. Another great report Robert. You have become my antidote to the day's MSM fake news reporting!

  17. Jose Jackson says:

Disappointed Pakistan and Saudi Arabia not on the list. 9/11 folks were mostly Saudi, and Pakistan allowed Bin Laden safe harbor.

  18. Jose Jackson says:

Seems like more people in Chicago last month died from guns than Muslim extremists in the USA. If this is truly about safety of Americans, where is the National Guard and our military at to make Chicago and other areas of the country with a high capita per population?

  19. well written, thanks for sharing.
