Never lower yourself to fight for the “right” to be where you are not wanted. It’s a mistake to use government power to force someone to hire you against his will. While it may get you what you want in the short term, force does not work in the long term.

You will never fully exploit your skills if you work in an atmosphere of resentment. Instead, use your energy to find a company that will fully appreciate your abilities and your willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

The latter dramatically increases your chances of having a happy ending.
