No More Messing Around

Expansion of the phony Russia-collusion investigation to include the Manafortization of Michael Cohen’s home and office is nothing short of a declaration of war. Given that the DOJ/FBI police state has now become entrenched, it’s time for freedom advocates to be prepared to hang together or hang separately.
I’ve always believed that God acts in mysterious ways, and one of those ways is that He sometimes sends the most unlikely messengers to do his bidding. Enter Donald Trump, a philanderer, egomaniac, exaggerator supreme, childish trash-talker, and truth-challenged individual.
But notwithstanding his many flaws, Trump is also someone who can cause a major political earthquake with nothing more than a simple tweet. This is one area where I give him an A+ for what he has been able to accomplish. Establishment elites are in a constant state of fear that their cushy D.C. lifestyle — made possible by their unabashed plundering and pillaging of their constituents — may now be coming to an end.
Trump’s greatest contribution to America is not his tax cuts, disembowelment of the treacherous EPA, quashing of the hated of Obamacare individual mandate, or the resultant booming economy and record-low unemployment rates these actions have fostered. Rather, it’s his willingness to take bold action against the domestic enemies of America. Trump is likely to be most remembered as the first modern-day president to have the courage to stand up to the forces of evil and awaken a sleeping red giant.
While it may make some patriots flinch, the real underlying cause of America’s accelerating decay is that democracy simply does not work for the average person. Defenders of the status quo, of course, argue that the United States is not a democracy but a constitutional republic, and technically that’s true. But in actual practice, an American constitutional republic is a fantasy that went out the window with the emergence and rapid growth of the modern welfare state.
What makes the welfare state possible, of course, is that government is inherently corrupt. Power-hungry politicians understand that the secret to staying in power is to offer ever-more benefits to people in exchange for their votes. The result is that the United States is now $21 trillion in debt and heading for a disastrous financial reckoning.
Members of the Radical Left and their statist Republican allies see this not as a problem but an opportunity, a la Rahm Emanuel’s endearing words, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” Following through on this nihilistic philosophy, politicians have exploited their constituents’ fears by offering poisonous bromides that promote identity politics and further tear the country apart.
As Tumpism continues to deliver visible results to Americans, those on the Radical Left have become increasingly angry, hostile, foul-mouthed, and violent. They are laser-focused on eliminating, among other things, gun ownership, borders, abortion restrictions, climate-change resistance, religious freedom, the Republican Party, conservatism, and, above all, free speech.
Anyone who doubts this should read an article recently tweeted out by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to his millions of followers with the comment, “Great read.” The article, written by Radical Leftists Peter Leyden and Ruy Teixeira, bluntly states that “there’s no bipartisan way forward at this juncture.”
They go on to call “for a complete marginalization of the Republican Party and its voters since they only care ‘about rule by and for billionaires at the expense of working people,’” then add, “Let’s just say what needs to be said: The Republican Party over the past forty years has maneuvered itself into a position where they are the bad guys on the wrong side of history.”
Most important, the authors opine that “At some point, one side or the other must win — and win big. (My note: I AGREE!) The side resisting change, usually the one most rooted in the past systems and incumbent interests, must be thoroughly defeated — not just for a political cycle or two, but for a generation or two.”
Translation: All those who believe in the founding principles of America must be silenced and totally defeated so a new system can be established.
When terrorists make threats, history has taught us that we should take them seriously. And, make no mistake about it, those on the Radical Left are terrorists of the worst kind – embedded terrorists.
America is irreversibly entrenched in a civil war that is almost certain to become increasingly violent, and the biggest mistake the Trump administration can make is to bend over backwards to be “inclusive.” The Dirty Dems use so-called inclusiveness as a way of getting their foot back inside the door with an eye toward regaining power.
Sadly, it is establishment Republicans who have allowed the Radical Left to fundamentally transform the United States of America at an accelerating pace over the past fifty years, but they are not yet satisfied. Their real goal is to establish a left-wing dictatorship and imprison — or, if necessary, exterminate — those who oppose their Radical Left agenda.
The unpleasant truth is that Radical Leftists are on a death-to-the-finish crusade that makes it clear they will never let go of their hate-mongering, infantile name-calling, nonstop lying, and passionate belief that their use of violence against those who disagree with them is justified by their moral superiority.
That being the case, trying to work with the Radical Left is not the solution to America’s second civil war. The solution is to push back against them — hard — and totally defeat them.
And the first step in that endeavor is to prosecute and imprison the worst of their lot — from Barack Obama to Horrible Hillary, from Debbie Wasserman Schultz to James Comey, from John Brennan to Susan Rice, from Andrew McCabe to John Podesta … and many, many more. Anything less than this is nothing more than a placeholder for the Dirty Dems until they can regain power and start prosecuting and imprisoning Republicans.
Republicans would be wise to adopt the words of House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes as their mantra, to wit: “We’re not messing around here.” Amen to that, Devin.
