A Matter of Liberty or Tyranny

While serial rapist Brett Kavanaugh, Part II, may look like adolescent silliness to normal people, it’s just another day at the office for Radical Leftists — another chapter out of their time-tested playbook:  smear, intimidate, destroy.

Deranged Democrats insist that because Kavanaugh has so many sexual misconduct allegations against him, he isn’t fit to sit on the Supreme Court.  In other words, forget about corroboration or evidence.  In the padded-cell world of the Radical Left fascists, allegations are more than enough to remove a Republican appointee or elected official from office.  Not a Democratic lieutenant governor, mind you.  Only Republicans qualify for removal from office without proof of wrongdoing.

In the real world, of course, both precedent and the Constitution make it clear that the purpose of impeachment is to remove a public official for misconduct while in office.  But even without precedent or the Constitution, common sense tells you that it would be absurd to believe someone should be impeached for his conduct 20 or 30 years before being elected or appointed to office.

Even if the unsubstantiated allegations against Brett Kavanaugh were true — and thus far all the investigations and evidence (or lack thereof) overwhelmingly indicate they are not — they have nothing to do with his conduct since taking office.  As Senator Dickie Durbin, usually a staunch Democratic attack dog, said, “Get real.”

The reality is that the Kavanaugh hysteria — both Part I and Part II — is 100 percent political.  What the Radical Left is trying to do is intimidate Kavanaugh into leaning left in his decisions, especially when it comes to abortion cases, and most especially if there is an attempt to overturn the legally shaky Roe v Wade.

Though it’s painful to admit, liberal fascists may once again be victorious in their quest to push the Supreme Court further to the left, because the reality is that Kavanaugh, unlike Neil Gorsuch, has proven to be a bit mushy around the edges.  Let’s be candid here:  Brett Kavanaugh knows full well that he need not fear anyone on the right, but he has a lot to fear from the Radical Left.  The thought of having your reputation, your career, and your family destroyed can be very persuasive when it comes to making judicial decisions.

The one good thing that has come out of the Kavanaugh hoax is that Amy Coney Barrett, who is one of the leading candidates for the next Supreme Court opening, showed herself to be nothing more than Mitt Romney in a skirt when she volunteered, “The chief justice (John Roberts), I think, articulated what members of the judiciary feel.  The chief justice responded and pushed back and said, ‘You know, we don’t have Obama judges.’”

Her remarks were in reference to Chief Justice John Roberts’ pushback against President Trump’s comments about an “Obama judge” who blocked his asylum reforms.  Said Roberts, “We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges.  What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them.  That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.”

What a crock.  Every idiot knows that most Supreme Court justices vote either right or left most of the time.  Does Roberts really believe that Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan do “their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them?”

I agree with radio talk-show host Larry O’Connor that what Roberts should have done instead was sit down with the Radical Left judges on the Ninth Circuit Court and said something like, “Listen, guys, you have to stop this nonsense.  You can’t continue to make emotional decisions that have no legal basis.  Getting so many of your decisions overturned on appeal makes the entire federal court system look bad.”

Hopefully, Barrett’s stunning comments registered with President Trump, because he certainly cannot afford to make another major appointment mistake by nominating yet another fake conservative to the Supreme Court.  Please, Mr. President, cross Amy Coney Barrett off your list of potential nominees!

The truth is that the Supreme Court, notwithstanding John Roberts’ absurd lecture, has become a political tool.  It is overly intrusive and consistently decides cases that should not even be heard by the Court.  Worst of all, it rarely adheres to the Constitution when handing down decisions.

That said, it’s important to understand that the shenanigans of the Supreme Court are just one aspect of a much broader problem, the culture war we’ve been involved in for at least a half century.  It’s a war that has been waged by a mentally unstable segment of the population, people who seem incapable of rational behaviour and who are totally devoid of critical thinking skills.  They are angry, frustrated psychopaths who are convinced that the United States of America must be fundamentally transformed into a socialist, top-down society at all costs.

Because conservatives tend to be busy leading lives that focus on such mundane matters as family, career, finances, and entertainment, they’ve been oblivious not only to the long-term objectives of the Radical Left, but the success it has already achieved in implementing its anti-American, socialist agenda.

Disappointed that Barack Obama was not able to finish the job of bringing America to its knees, and terrified by the fact that a Republican president has emerged who is ready, willing, and able to reinstitute policies that for nearly 200 years made America a beacon of freedom and hope for the rest of the world, they have dropped all pretence of civility and adult behaviour.  They no longer try to hide their intent to intimidate and destroy all those who dare disagree with them.

The number-one fear that has given the Radical Left a crazed sense of urgency is the thought of Donald Trump, and perhaps Mike Pence after him, building a 7-2 conservative Supreme Court majority.  If that should happen, Democrats have already announced their intention to “pack” the court with liberal judges.  Don’t for a second think they’re bluffing.  If the Dirty Dems ever gain control of the House, the Senate, and the White House, rest assured that restructuring the Supreme Court will be their number-one priority.

If Republicans do not to manage to hold onto the presidency and the Senate, along with winning back the House, Brett Kavanaugh, Part I & II, will prove to be just a sneak preview of things to come.  There’s no doubt in my mind that if Democrats ever gain full control of the government, they will try, through whatever means necessary, to remove every Republican, every conservative, and every libertarian appointee and elected official from office.

With that in mind, what it all boils down to is that keeping Democrats out of power is literally a matter of liberty or tyranny.  That’s a message Trump and Republicans should be relentlessly hammering home to voters between now and November 3.

Never forget that this is not a parlour game; it’s all-out war.
