The Con Goes On:
Turning Criminals into Victims

From Michael Brown to George Floyd … from Luigi Mangione to Karmelo Anthony … from Trayvon Martin to Mahmoud Khalil, the con goes on.  Criminals are victims and real victims are criminals.  On a broader scale, evil is now good and good is now evil.  This perversion of reality is puzzling to normal, everyday people who are angry over how things ever got so twisted in America.

The fight over a “Maryland dad” being deported back to his home country is a perfect example of this.  Kilmar Abrego Garcia is the latest criminal to be awarded the victim label.  At a minimum, Garcia is a wife beater; more likely, he’s also an MS-13 gang member and human trafficker.   Not exactly worldclass creds for a victim.

That said, whether Garcia is or is not a gang member, whether he is or is not a wife beater, whether he is or is not a human trafficker is irrelevant.  The only relevant factor is that he’s in the United States illegally.  Garcia’s case underscores why it’s a mistake for Trump and his team to continually emphasize they are focusing on removing “criminal illegals,” because it plays right into the grimy hands of Democrats.

The question of whether Garcia has been afforded due process can be sorted out in court, but it’s not important enough to distract from today’s overarching issue:  cracking down on illegal immigration and deporting everyone who is in the country illegally.  All people who are in the United States illegally are, by definition, criminals and should, according to the law of the land, be removed.

While it is true that the Constitution provides for non-citizens to be afforded due process, the level of due process available to an illegal is far less than the due process that a United States citizen is entitled to receive.  As Stephen Miller put it, the Democrats’ idea of due process amounts to “infinity process,” a way of keeping an illegal in the United States forever.

Clearly, Democrats are playing the long game.  If every person who came into the country illegally at the urging of Democrats were provided unlimited due process, it would take decades to adjudicate all 15 million (20 million?  30 million?) illegals and deport them.  By that time, of course, Democrats would have invented a plethora of new ways to allow illegals to vote, which would ultimately lead to their taking permanent control of the reins of power and blowing the border wide open again.  Plain and simple, it’s a brazen attempt at voter replacement.

In my last article, I said there are times when you have to forego the rule of law in deference to civilizational survival.  I stand by those words, and today it’s truer than ever before.  The entire federal judicial system is corrupt and some of its worst actors are trying to usurp the executive branch’s authority.  While some Republican appointed judges might be doing it out of ignorance or fear, Democrat appointed activist judges are trying to execute a coup on the presidency — and when a coup is underway, there’s no time for legal niceties.

Thus, in no small part due to corrupt federal judges, the con of turning criminals into victims and real victims into criminals goes on.  Just a few examples most recently dominating the news cycle include:

  • Harvard administrators and faculty members are victims who believe carpenters, plumbers, and factory workers should pay for their bloated salaries and benefits, and those who want to end this multi-billion-dollar grift for academic elites are evil.
  • Under the auspices of DOGE, Elon Musk is evil for wanting to save Social Security and all of government from bankruptcy, and those who want the waste and fraud to continue are good people.
  • Parents who want to protect their young children from drag queen shows and books about gender and sexuality are evil, while those who want schools to be able to supersede parental rights are good.
  • The biggest, costliest scam in financial history, “birthright citizenship,” is perhaps the most outrageous con of all. An illegal alien can come to the United States nine months pregnant on a tourist visa, have a baby, and that baby is then declared a citizen.  That, in turn, allows for the entire family to come here legally.  The women who participate in this scheme are not victims.  They are criminals, along with the radical-left lawyers and NGO administrators and staffers who defend them and the corrupt judges who give the ruse their blessing.

The list goes on and on.  Democrats have saturated all aspects of society — film, music, sports, academia, medicine, and more — with the big con of turning criminals into victims and victims into criminals

The arrests last week of judges in Wisconsin and New Mexico is a step in the right direction, but Pam Bondi has to prove she’s up to the job by turning the heat up on all criminals, including those in government who participated in illegal efforts to remove Donald Trump from office the first time around and block him from returning to office for a second term.

Not even Donald Trump can solve all of America’s problems, and rest assured that Democrats will have a long list of Trump heresies ready for the primaries.  And, as hard as it is to understand, millions of gullible, low-information voters will be ready to pull the kill switch on “the party of oligarchs.”

What a great fantasy it is to imagine a world where criminals are harshly punished and real victims are rewarded.
