It’s pretty hard to write …

It’s pretty hard to write about anything else when Trump and Hillary are making this perhaps the most remarkable presidential campaign in history. I won’t make any bold predictions at this point, but, based on events of the past week or so, here’s what I believe is most likely to happen with these two polar opposites.

I assume that anyone who would take the trouble to read this post is already convinced that Hillary is guilty of multiple — probably scores — of felonies, so I won’t bore you with what you already know.

But what I will tell you is that I think the odds are that Hillary is either going to be indicted or there will be mass hysteria coming out of the FBI — hysteria that I believe would blow this whole mess into a scandal that would make Watergate look like a speeding ticket.

Either way, I believe the odds are strong that panicked Democratic chieftains, knowing Hillary cannot win, will push Biden, Kerry, or Gore into the race. Heck, at some point in time they’ll be so panicked that they might even ask Anthony Weiner to run. Don’t laugh — he knows how to get attention.

So forget Hillary. She was dead meat years ago, even though few people understood it — and millions still don’t. What a blow this is going to be to her army of lackey followers.

As to Trump, I guess it’s possible he could lose Iowa and, ultimately, the nomination. But I think it’s much more likely he’ll win Iowa by an unexpectedly huge margin and sweep through the remaining states with landslide victories. I think something of historic proportions is happening here that most people still don’t get.

Barry Goldwater (who, in my opinion, would have been the greatest president of all time) was the right man at the wrong time. Ronald Reagan was the right man at the right time. But Donald Trump appears to be the PERFECT man at the PERFECT time. That’s a potent combination.

So forget conservatism. Forget libertarianism. Forget liberalism. They don’t matter. Everything is out the window on this one. The designed destruction of America has awakened voters, and they’re angry as hell. Which is why they’re attracted to an angry guy with a proven track record of getting his way by whatever means necessary.

Kind of reminds me of the words of Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto following the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor: “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve.” Sounds like 2016 to me.
