Monday was another sad day for Fox News …

Monday was another sad day for Fox News as it continues to punish anchors and contributors who dare to say what most viewers are already thinking.

Glenn Beck was the first to go (though for all the wrong reasons) back in 2011. Then, Judge Andrew Napolitano was stripped of his no-holds-barred, truth-telling show, “Freedom Watch,” for being too aggressive in his defense of freedom.

In June of this year, Sarah Palin was given her walking papers after calling out (without actually naming her) Megyn Kelly for “exploiting the Duggar girls.” With the Queen of Narcissism being pampered and protected by Brit Hume and Roger Ailes, Palin’s fate was sealed.

Then, yesterday, in two moves that again demonstrated how hard Fox is working to become mainstream (i.e., left of center), the network suspended two contributors, Col. Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash, for two weeks for what Fox’s point man, Bill Shine, referred to as comments that were “completely inappropriate and unacceptable for our air.” .

Dash’s inappropriate and unacceptable statement was with regard to Chairman Obama’s zero-sum speech on the San Bernardino slayings: “I felt like he could give a shit.” And the always blunt Col. Peters’ chimed in by calling the Duplicitous Despot “a total pussy.”

Funny, to be sure, but honesty compels me to admit that this kind of language should not be used on television. That said, the more important point is the fact that it’s happening more and more often, which is a good indicator of just how mad people are with the criminal behavior of the political class in Washington.

Fox’s dream of being accepted by the left-wing big boys is obvious, as lefties from the major networks and far-left newspapers like The Washington Post regularly appear as guests on the once-conservative network .

Funny, but I thought the reason Rupert Murdoch started Fox was to give the public a conservative counterbalance to the over-the-top, left-wing bias of the media. But what do I know.
