Trump’s Tax Returns: The Next Artificial Scandal?

It’s amazing that the HillBillies were disrobed in public years ago for operating what former federal prosecutor Joseph diGenova has referred to as “the biggest criminal conspiracy in American political history,” yet not only have they not been prosecuted, there has never even been a grand jury empaneled to examine the mountain of evidence against them.

After all, dirty-cop (Joseph diGenova’s words) James Comey, Director of the FBI, read a laundry list of Hillary’s crimes to a national television audience, then, to everyone’s astonishment, magically concluded that “no reasonable person could determine that there was an intent on her part to break the law.” Really?

Having an unsecured server set up in your basement doesn’t show intent? Deleting tens of thousands of emails doesn’t show intent? “Bleaching” her server so no emails could be retrieved doesn’t show intent? Having your surrogates smash 13 Blackberries with hammers doesn’t show intent?

And, of course, there was Loretta Lynch, who refused to recuse herself from handling Horrible Hillary’s case even though she secretly met with Bubba aboard her private plane on the tarmac in Phoenix just a few days before Comey informed the public of his findings. And let’s not forget that her predecessor, Eric Holder, lied under oath, but heard nary a peep from weak-kneed Republicans about his criminal behavior.

Or Obama’s IRS Commissioner John Koskinen’s getting away with allowing key evidence in the IRS scandal to be destroyed, then misleading Congress about it. And his underling, Lois (mad dog) Lerner, getting off scot free after targeting conservative groups and employing the Dirty Dems’ favorite tactic — having her emails destroyed.

And you wonder why voters revolted in 2016?

But it’s about to get worse — much worse. We’re entering uncharted waters with the world’s most famous community organizer setting up the country’s first officially recognized, unelected government (the “Obama Revolutionary Shadow Government”). It’s a 100 percent certainty that the Obama Revolutionary Shadow Government will be creating wild conspiracy theories at a furious pace in an effort to continue throwing roadblocks in front of Trump and his cabinet. The Dirty Dems excel not at carrying out the wishes of their constituents, but in creating conspiracies to destroy their opponents.

I’m guessing that one of the first things The Obama Revolutionary Shadow Government will focus on is Trump’s refusal to release his tax returns. At least, I’m hoping that will be the case. The reason I would welcome it is because, while I have no inside information about this issue, it seems to me there could only be two reasons why Trump doesn’t want his tax returns made public, and both of them are irrelevant.

The first possibility is that he may have given very little to charity, and he knows the Dirty Dems would pounce on that even though it has no bearing on his ability to govern the country. (Of course, based on what we know about Trump’s track record, it’s far more likely he has been more charitable than most.)

The second possibility is far more likely: Perhaps he doesn’t want to make his tax returns public because he may have paid little or no taxes. And if that be the case, I say good for him.

To his credit, during his campaign he made it clear that he takes advantage of every possible part of the tax code in order to pay as little taxes as possible. Doesn’t everybody? As he pointed out at the time, if anyone objects to his or anyone else’s deductions, the solution is to try to get Congress to change the tax laws. End of story.

If you really wanted to stretch it, I guess there might be one other possible reason the Radical Left could offer as to why Trump wouldn’t want to show his tax returns: tax fraud. Which sounds nice, but the fact is that Trump is audited every year. That being the case, if he were guilty of tax evasion or anything else of a criminal nature, he would have been prosecuted by now and would not have been able to run for president. Again, end of story.

So if I were Trump, when the question is raised again, what I would say, on national television, is something along the following lines:

“The Democrats want me to release my tax returns, which, by the way, the law does not require me to do. I have declined, because all amounts to is another fishing expedition. And oh — by the way — in all fairness, I should also point out that it’s just as true that it’s not against the law for a president to keep his college records sealed, though it is certainly quite unusual.

I would therefore like to make the following offer to the American people: I will release all my tax returns if Barack Obama simultaneously orders the unsealing of his all college records.”

Oops — there go Granny Pelosi’s dentures again, this time crashing to the floor. To put it mildly, Democrats would go ballistic. But why, pray tell? What’s the big deal about a president (now ex-president) releasing his college records? Isn’t he proud of his college achievements?

The point is that we have a pretty good idea as to why Trump is unwilling to release his tax returns, and, as discussed above, it’s unlikely to reveal anything improper. But what about Obama’s sealed college records? Doesn’t the same question apply? Why has he steadfastly refused to release his college records? What could those records contain that could be so bad, so embarrassing, or so illegal that he has refused to subject them to public scrutiny?”

Personally, I can think of only two possible reasons for Obama’s secrecy. One is that his records contain numerous anti-American essays or diatribes that he wrote as a student. The other, and more likely, possibility is that his records reveal that he was enrolled at Occidental, Columbia, or/or Harvard as a foreign-exchange student.

If I had to bet the farm, I would have to go with both, but with a heavier emphasis on the foreign-exchange-student angle. If you can think of another serious reason for Obama’s resistance to making his college records public, I’d love to hear what it is.

In the meantime, until someone (preferably the president of the United States) is willing to aggressively challenge the president of the Obama Revolutionary Shadow Government, I don’t want to hear any more nonsense about Jeff Sessions and wild, nonfactual Russian conspiracy theories from the Radical Left.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, hardly a right-wing conservative, summed it up clearly when he said that not only did Jeff Sessions not commit perjury, as the Dirty Dems claim he did, but that “It isn’t even close.” He went on to say that in order to have a special counsel, you have to “articulate what it is that they’re investigating.” And the fact that some guy in Russia may have hacked into U.S. computers does not in any way so much as even imply a criminal act by anyone in the United States. It’s all an exercise in diversion.

Given the never-ending criminal acts and cover-ups by the Dirty Dems, I find their manufactured scandals about Trump and his team to be difficult to stomach. I don’t know about you, but I can’t watch any more of this sinister nonsense about Boy Scout Jeff Sessions’ secret collusion with the Russians. It’s disappointing that even Fox News can’t resist obsessing over what appears to be a nonstory that is completely devoid of any factual information.

Please, Rupert, tell your guys stop insulting — and boring — your audience with Dirty Dem fecal matter, lest you end up plummeting to the basement alongside the Clinton News Network.
