The Joy of Self-cannibalization

The Radical Left’s reaction to Donald Trump’s executive orders (actually, to his mere existence) is becoming more remarkable by the day. It’s inconceivable to Trump haters that he has dared to become the first president in modern times to do exactly what he said he would do if he were elected president.

In the criminal world of the Demopublican establishment, this is nothing short of heresy. After all, it could lead to their constituents expecting them to keep (Gasp!) their campaign promises.

That said, what were the immediate results of the implementation of Donald Trump’s world-ending, extreme-vetting executive order? To be precise, 109 people were temporarily detained to make sure that the safety of 320 million Americans was not unnecessarily endangered. After being vetted, all 109 were released within 48 hours.

Perhaps a bit of an inconvenience to them, but there were scores of people inconvenienced with a loss of life in terrorists shooting galleries like Boston, San Bernardino, and Orlando, and I can’t seem to recall Chuckie Schumer shedding tears for the victims of those radical Islamic terrorist attacks. When a guy is willing to resort to faking tears in a situation like this, he’s a serious candidate for the Harry Reid Deplorables Award.

Trump haters, becoming asphyxiated by their own teeth-gnashing, hate-mongering, and over-the-top drama truly cannot comprehend the fact that America just had a presidential election — preceded by 18 months of campaigning! — and that an electoral majority overwhelmingly voted for the very policies that Donald Trump has barely begun to implement.

Fortunately, we have a national screening system in this country that penalizes those who peddle in hatred, lies, and omission of important news. The system I am referring to is called voting. Even though what it amounts to is tyranny of the majority, “Democracy,” as Winston Churchill pointed out, “is the worst form of government, except for all the others.” Translation: Life isn’t perfect, so deal with it.

What I find especially enjoyable about all this is that the scoundrels on the left are so out of touch that they don’t even realize that they are cannibalizing themselves. Sort of like the shrew, the tiniest of all mammals, which weighs less than a dime. The shrew is a voracious eater, and when he’s hungry enough and there is no other prey around, he’s capable of eating himself to death — literally — starting with his own tail.

Assuming they keep going full steam ahead with their childish, apoplectic behavior — these human-like shrews can expect to be punished severely in the 2018 mid-terms. But rest assured that these narcissistic miscreants have no such expectations, because they really and truly believe that, deep down, most Americans really support their views and, if not, that it’s their moral duty to help them see the light.

In closing, here’s a scary thought: If demented, hateful folks are still in shock over the results of the 2016 elections, can you imagine what their reaction will be in 2018 if the Republicans achieve a filibuster-proof 60-seat majority in the Senate and, say, a 300-135 advantage in the House?

Fasten your seat belt. This could get to be a lot more fun than any of us could have imagined.
