Spasms of a Dying Party

Jeff Flake, the whiney liberal Republican from Arizona, outdid himself when he recently lamented, “When you look at some of the audiences cheering for Republicans, sometimes you look out there and you say, ‘Those are the spasms of a dying party.'”

Flake went on to say, “By and large, we’re appealing to older white men, and there are just a limited number of them, and anger and resentment are not a governing philosophy.”

From a psychological perspective, I found Flake’s comments to be fascinating, because they almost perfectly described not the Republican Party, but today’s Democratic Party!  I truly believe that the Dirty Dems are perhaps only two elections (2018 and 2020) away from becoming extinct.

Their obsession with such garbage issues as transgender bathrooms, protecting illegal aliens, non-existent Russia collusion, undefinable “social justice,” and the impeachment of a duly elected president without cause is what comes across to me as the “spasms of a dying party.”

With no meaningful message and no serious agenda, the Dirty Dems’ trademark is anger.  They’re angry that so many people believe global warming is a hoax … angry that so many people believe there should be a crackdown on illegal immigration … angry that so many people are cheering the opening of the Keystone Pipeline and drilling in ANWR … angry that so many people are happy about getting their taxes reduced … and, above all, angry that so many people voted for Donald Trump in the last presidential election.

As to the “older white men” Flake alluded to, just who are these guys anyway?  Was he referring to older white men like Herman Cain, Niger Innes, and Ben Carson?

Or older white men like Larry Elder, Burgess Owens, and Sheriff David Clarke?

Or perhaps older white men like Justice Clarence Thomas, David Webb, and the Wall Street Journal’s Jason Riley?

Hmm … maybe he was referring to older white men like Joy Villa, Dineen Borelli, and Stacey Dash?  Darn, that doesn’t work either … not only not white, but not even men.

The truth be known, those older white men Flake was referring to are just another piece of Radical Left fiction.  After all, the philosophy of the Radical Left is:  Just say it and it will become a reality.  It’s a fascinating, delusional mind-set that I’ve studied for years.

The cold, hard fact is that most of what the Dirty Dems scream and yell about has no relationship with the truth, yet that never seems to discourage them.  It seems clear that they believe if they say something loud enough and long enough with ramrod conviction, it will transform itself into reality.

This is precisely what’s behind the dire prognostications about the GOP’s coming demise.  It’s true that the Republican Party was in its death throes before Donald Trump came along, but it’s obvious to any half-awake, sober person that it is now a party that has come to life … that has a purpose … that is getting things done … that is moving toward more freedom and less government … and, above all, that is finally standing up to its enemies.

To be sure, the GOP has a long way to go, but it is clearly moving in the right direction.  The Dirty Dems, on the other hand, continue their relentless march toward extinction.  The Democratic Party began to die back in 2008 when it audaciously nominated a shiftless, ne’er-do-well community organizer as its presidential candidate, then spent eight years propping him up by promoting the fake narrative that he was a brilliant, pro-American, moderate politician with unmatched oratorical skills.

He was, in fact, none of these things.  What he was was a total fraud whose well-documented radical-left background and clearly stated anti-American goals have been glossed over to this very day.

Back to Snowflake Jeff, the senator in spasm has also insisted that Republicans are in denial about Donald Trump, and I agree that the GOP was, in fact, in denial early on.  However, even Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have finally jumped aboard the Trump Train, as they have come to accept the reality that his ability to get results gives them their best chance of staying in power.  They are also convinced that he has no intention of allowing the mudslinging of the Dirty Dems, FNM, and even some members of his own party to slow him down.

In the meantime, the Dirty Dems continue to be the party of spasms.  These spasms are apparent not only in their perpetual bad-mouthing of Trump, but in their delusional proclamations about the 2018 midterms.  With the aid of the FNM (and even Fox News!), the Dirty Dems continue to promote the baseless narrative that all signs point to a blue wave in the 2018 midterms.

Whether they actually believe such nonsense or are just trying to gin up the Radical Left base, it’s nothing more than another spasm of a dying party:  Just proclaim it and it will magically come to pass!  To be sure, there will be a wave in 2018, but it will be a bright-red wave.

The only question is how many additional Senate seats Republicans will pick up.  With ten Dirty Dem senators up for reelection in states Trump won, Republicans have a real shot at gaining a 60-seat majority in the Senate.  And if that happens, and with Flake, Corker, and McCain gone, they’ll also have a good chance of getting all 60 votes on any legislation they want to push through Congress.

In the House, the Dirty Dems could conceivably pick up some seats, but even if they do, it won’t be enough to give them a majority.  The claims by the Dirty Dems and FNM that Democrats have a good chance of taking back the House is just more wishful thinking.

As the Democratic Party continues its spasms, my suggestion to you is to sit back and enjoy the lead-up to the red wave that’s coming in 2018.  Only one question remains:  After another humiliating loss in the midterms, will the Dirty Dems finally put aside their childish, hate-Trump agenda (two scoops of ice cream, cheating at golf, colluding with Russian bogeymen, etc.) and come up with some serious reasons why people should vote for them?

The answer to this question is a resounding NO.  Today’s Dirty Dems are so hateful, so stupid, and so delusional that their mental incapacitation long ago became irreversible.  Which is probably a good thing, because life wouldn’t be much fun without Cryin’ Chuck’s fake tears, Feeble Nancy’s Armageddon warnings, and Dopey Al Green’s calls for impeachment.  Heck, I’m already starting to miss crooked Hillary’s cackles.
