The Campaign that Never Ends
By Robert Ringer - Friday, September 10, 2010
On Labor Day, I engaged in the most dangerous of all activities, jumping from channel to channel with the remote. Suddenly, there he was, the Presidential Imposter (“PI”). Forget the fact that the presidential election was almost two years ago – he was giving yet another campaign speech, this time in Milwaukee!
My self-discipline momentarily abandoning me, I got sucked into watching the PI for five minutes … then ten … then fifteen … until I finally became too nauseous to continue. In fifteen minutes of nonstop lies, hollow rhetoric, whining, smart-aleck barbs, and chest-puffing, the PI turned on his best street-thug accent and delivered a rousing tirade against villains of the common man – George Bush, “fat cats on Wall Street,” the minority Republicans in Congress, and a variety of other straw men.
At one point, he shrieked, “We didn’t become the most prosperous country in the world by supporting greed and recklessness.” No mention of the fact that his “stimulus package” has failed to lower the unemployment rate to 8 percent as promised. No mention of the fact that he has quadrupled the evil George Bush’s deficit. No mention of the fact that spouse Angela Davis II spent $500,000 vacationing in Spain for a few days. No mention of anything substantive.
Reacting to criticism that he doesn’t show enough emotion, he suddenly morphed himself into a hell and damnation preacher. I hate to admit it, but it was actually humorous watching him do a pretty darn good imitation of Howard Dean delivering his infamous “Yahhhh!” speech.
When the PI did a repeat performance in Cleveland, it became clear that he intends to stick with the game plan he unveiled in Milwaukee: “I’m gonna do this” and “I’m gonna do that” … “Ain’t no way this” and “Ain’t no way that” – without ever saying anything true or coherent.
The plan seems pretty straightforward: Stay in campaign mode, don’t go near anything that might remind folks of the disastrous results of your policies, and keep believing that enough Americans will remain in an information-deficit coma until after the elections.
The PI even had the audacity to say that he’s going to “restore the American Dream.” Whoa! Hold on there, junior – now you’re crossing into my territory. I’ll tell you how to restore the American Dream – and it’s not by collapsing the economy and establishing a totalitarian regime in Washington.
To restore the American Dream, all redistribution-of-wealth functions of government need to be phased out along with most taxes. Every individual should be given the opportunity to succeed or fail according to his own abilities and efforts – without interference from government.
The American Dream will be restored when people accept the fact that their desires and “needs” are subordinate to the cause of liberty. If the American Dream means anything, it means that liberty must be given a higher priority than all other objectives.
The American Dream the Founding Fathers envisioned was about people declaring they were above government – that politicians are the employees of those who vote them into office, not the other way around. It meant having a strong people and a weak government – a government so weak that most people would rarely even think about its existence.
Maybe I’m becoming soft, but I honestly believe that some liberal politicians are merely naïve, uniformed, or disconnected from reality. But the PI is not one of them. One time, loud and clear: This is a truly bad human being who
in the process of destroying capitalism and the American way of life.
Even though virtually every word that comes out of his mouth in his never-ending campaign speeches is a lie, he is not, contrary to what many believe, a pathological liar. A pathological liar is someone who lies out of compulsion. The PI lies because he’s learned his lessons well from Marx, Lenin, childhood mentor Frank Marshall Davis, Saul Alinsky, et al. Lying is a worthy revolutionary tool and a justifiable means to the ends sought by true-believing communists.
I’m going to give a majority of voters the benefit of the doubt and assume that they now understand we have a PI in the White House who is establishing an agenda that ultimately will destroy the American Dream. If so, and if the PI doesn’t resort to a phony state of emergency to “postpone” the November elections – and if the Dems are not able to tamper with the vote-counting process enough to rig the results – Republicans will win the House and Senate by landslide proportions.
And that’s when they will have their last chance to adopt tea-party policies. Again, Michele Bachmann has it right: If Republicans win big, they should spend a good deal of their time issuing subpoenas. And they should start with the PI and work their way down to Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank, Schumer, etc. Not surprisingly, frightened Democratic talking heads are already starting to insist that Americans don’t want Congress spending its time on investigations.
Well, guess what? Straightening out the economy can be done with a minimum investment of time and effort. Simply repeal healthcare, financial reform, and virtually everything else that the PI and his comrades have forced into law by subverting the Constitution, cut personal taxes dramatically, eliminate both corporate and capital gains taxes, start dismantling the EPA, shut down the transfer-of-wealth programs euphemistically referred to as General Motors and Chrysler … for starters.
In other words, listen to the tea-partiers message: Government, get off our backs! Don’t do anything to “stimulate” the economy and create jobs. Just get out of the way and remove job-killing taxes and regulations. We’ll handle the rest, thank you.
That will leave Congress time to focus on investigating, bringing to trial, and, hopefully, convicting members of the gangster government that has been raping and pillaging the American public at a rapidly accelerating rate over the past two years. Sorry, but criminals are not entitled to “retire with dignity.”
Enough said. As Robert Shaw put it in The Sting, “Ya folla?”

Not all of the ‘fathers’. Not even half of them. Leaning on warm / fuzzy mythology to counter this other mythology may win, or retain adherents / acolytes / disciples – but it won’t win any real debates…..the contest you describe, your side vs the other side is religious in nature, putting it outside the scope of debate.
whose ____________(supply your own superlative or adjective), batman or superman?
Who cares?
“If Republicans win big, they should spend a good deal of their time issuing subpoenas.” Yes, and they ( The Republicans) better start issuing themselves a boatload of subpoenas too!
Furthermore, most of the Judicial Branch should be unseated and placed under arrest. As Max Keiser so rightly said, ” America has become a Kleptocracy.” I agree with Mr. Keiser: At this point in history, the entire system of government has become full of
“impostors”.
You see, I’m a “Political Atheist” and a Sovereign Human Being; As such, I’m not beguiled into taking sides with the Neocons( aka the modern day Republican Party). I fly solo. My mind is free to think for myself. As a free thinker, it becomes far easier to quickly recognize the “high crimes and misdemeanors” of all Three Branches of
Government. You see, conditions have become so deplorable in government that nothing short of a revolution will change the direction that America is heading. What is that direction? “The Road to Serfdom” by Friedrich von Hayek tells you everything you need to know about the direction of America. Of course, even a revolution may not change the direction for the better. In fact, it may make matters worse, far worse. It all depends on if the forces of evil triumph over the forces of good. Do you really what to learn more about where America
is trending? Do you want the unvarnished truth?
If you want to know where America is headed and what the latest trends are, then check out The Trends Research Institute. Mr. Ringer just interviewed the founder, Mr. Gerald Celente. Mr. Celente was the best
guest Mr. Ringer has interviewed thus far on The Liberty Education Interview Series. Mr. Celente’s record speaks for itself. And the best part about Mr. Celente is that he hates politics, which, by the way, makes him the perfect candidate for President. Like America’s first President, you’d have to drag Mr. Celente to Washington D.C. and plead with him to accept a role of leadership.
Most of the jerk-offs who are currently competing in “The Campaign that Never Ends” to become part of the current D.C. Circle Jerk Club “aren’t worth the powder to blow them to hell”. And that’s a fact.
Most, in fact, are nothing more than political whores. You want to know the truth? I’ll tell you the truth: The White House has become a Political Whorehouse. And anybody who thinks that electing Neocons into office is going to change things is in for a very, very rude awakening.
