He does need to be replaced plus the Republican Party needs to find it's roots.

That’s nothing new on Lindsey Graham, he is also for the “Cap and Trade” laws along with amnesty for illegals. Earlier I was thinking about good, ol Lindsey Graham---a fellow I once admired. Oddly, he has now paired himself with John Kerry, of all people, to support Cap & Trade, I believe. I can't stop wondering about what on earth has happened to Lindsey.
The thought has occurred to me that he is being blackmailed.
Honest.

Funny this article should pop up in my email today. Earlier I was thinking about good, ol Lindsey Graham—a fellow I once admired. But it still takes a ton of money to make any impact in this country which they do not have. Guess we are stuck with the democrats and republicans until our government collapses which shouldn't be much longer at the rate that Obama is destroying it. Many of our leaders know what needs to be done but the majority of Americans will not support these efforts.

It is time for one or more 3rd parties to stand up. Just sharing some rambling thoughts:
Re: "the cozy partnership that many closet progressives in the Republican Party have with their buddies across the aisle. When they dine together in their plush congressional dining rooms, there is a corruptive stench that permeates the air. Having become accustomed to such a luxurious lifestyle over the decades"
As you well know, this is what LAWYERS do! They put on the ACT that they are representing their clients in court, and doing battle for them, then join the "enemy" lawyer(s) for drink and fishing stories at the end of the day. Tis seeming the same with the pols! It appears more and more....to be just a corrupt act...to stay in power and get/have/keep ....the REWARDS of that!
Robert, I submit that a LARGE part of the/our problem is the fact that the electorate....keeps sending/electing LAWYERS to Washington AS our/their representatives!
To be sure, I recall your love too, for this productive group of society, from your book, "Winning Through Intimidation" that I read 30 years ago! (and have ONE thing that "STUCK", and is behind EVERYTHING I do in business...thanks! Sorry to digress!)
Lawyers: Do you know the difference between a lawyer and a prostitute? Ans: A prostitute....will STOP f*cking you....when you are DEAD!
I'll stop my babbling on that thought! ;-)
Keep up the good work!
JWO
p.s. When is Glenn Beck going to have YOU on his show? He should!

Dear Robert,<br

We parted ways when the Religious Right usurped the party platform. I am not alone. There are many loyal Americans who are intelligent enough to separate their religious beliefs from their political philosophies. How dare they install a religious test as a prerequisite for membership in a political organization! Abortion is an emotional issue, but it is not the only problem facing this nation. When abortion became the primary rallying cry for the Republican Party, I had to seek out candidates who cared about other matters – no matter which party’s flag they flew.
The final straw that broke the Republican camel’s back was the ideology that God wanted us to invade Iraq. My God does not declare war on any of His children, nor does he ask His children to kill in his name.
If the holier-than-thou crowd would loosen their grip on the Party, many of us would come back home and restore the Grand Old Party to its former glory. But, that doesn’t seem likely, so you are correct, Robert, we need a new political party. And soon!

You are correct, Robert, America does need a new political party! I am a 62-year-old conservative. I have always been a conservative.
