Wile E. Obama vs Road Runner Beck

By Robert Ringer
Remember how BHO got down in the mud with Sarah Palin almost immediately after she was announced as John McCain’s running mate? It took a good week before his handlers got him to settle down and realize that he was running against McCain, not Palin.
Slow learner as he may be, to his credit, BHO finally demonstrated the self-discipline to ignore the dynamic and magnetic governor of Alaska and refocus on his hapless presidential opponent, John McCain.
Nevertheless, his childish bickering with a beautiful, charismatic woman whose political experience dwarfed the darling of community organizers reminded me of Wile E. Coyote and his eternal nemesis, Road Runner. And after eight months in office, it’s clear that BHO is still susceptible to falling into the Palin Trap — not necessarily with Sarah Palin, but with anyone who annoys him.
Nary a day goes by when he does not lash out at his enemies in his trademark crybaby style. And when it results in a drop in his poll numbers, you can almost hear the words “Beep! Beep!” in the air. Now, BHO is caught in the Palin Trap once again, fighting a war he cannot win — a war with Fox News, the most influential media outlet on the planet.
My guess is that, sooner or later, BHO’s handlers will convince him that he has no choice but to appear on Fox, because he’s insulting an election-losing percentage of independents who are Fox viewers. Likely, he’ll consent to being interviewed again by the ever-fair Chris Wallace and, perhaps, Bill O’Reilly. Greta is an outside possibility, but she doesn’t tolerate B.S., which is BHO’s stock in trade.
In any event, all three would give him fair but tough interviews, and one would hope they would hold his feet to the fire with serious questions about meaningful topics such as ACORN, SEIU, communist Van Hall, Mark Lloyd (who refers to Hugo Chavez’s dictatorship as the result of “an incredible revolution”), BHO’s public statements about favoring single-payer healthcare, etc., etc., etc.
Would BHO survive a Chris Wallace or Bill O’Reilly interview? It depends on how intent they would be on insisting that he answer their questions in a no-spin manner. But, either way, it would not spare BHO from the biggest Palin Trap of all — the progressives’ worst nightmare — an ex-alcoholic, ex-drug addict, ex-financial failure, ex-rodeo clown, and current Road Runner Supreme, Glenn Beck.
As Beck continues to disrobe the corruption surrounding Wile E. Obama’s presidency, the strategy from the left, as expected, is to try to discredit him. To put it mildly, it’s not working. In fact, it’s making him more popular by the day.
Beck is on a mission, and he and his excellent research staff are relentless. To his enormous credit, he has made it clear that he isn’t afraid of losing everything, if that’s what it takes to get to the truth. And, as the left knows more than any other segment of our society, a man who is willing to lose everything can be very dangerous.
So, whether he likes it or not, and whether or not he will even admit it, Wile E. Obama is getting sucked into the Palin Trap with a real, live version of Road Runner — in the body and brain of Glenn Beck (“Road Runner Beck”). And, as with Fox News in general, Wile E. Obama is once again in a battle he can’t win.
If he tries to ignore Road Runner Beck, Beck will continue to disrobe Wile E. Obama through his own written and spoken words. Beck has become a one-man poll-wrecking crew for BHO. He continually shows one video clip after another of BHO blatantly contradicting himself (or, in less delicate terms, lying).
But if Wile E. Obama chooses to go after Road Runner Beck, he will get sucked even deeper into the Palin Trap — bringing himself “down” to the level of a mere television personality whom the left is trying ever so hard to dismiss as a right-wing kook. Could you imagine how a teleprompterless Wile E. Obama would fare in an interview with Road Runner Beck — being confronted with real questions and an aggressive insistence that he answer them in a serious way?
So, what’s a community organizer to do? The more the fringe media asks BHO about his opinions on the BCS college playoffs or the chances of the Chicago White Sox making it to the World Series, the more viewers will continue to flee to Fox News — and, in particular, to Road Runner Beck — to find out what is really going on in the world.
Now, Time magazine has (obviously, inadvertently) made Beck even bigger by featuring him in a cover story in its September 28 edition. Road Runner Beck now poses the single biggest threat to the establishment of a progressive dictatorship in Washington. Which in turn means that, whether or not Wile E. Obama likes it, this is going to increasingly become an Obama vs Beck battle.
The truth of the matter is that the progressive movement no longer needs BHO. Give the man credit, he moved the ball all the way to the five yard line in just a matter of months. But at this point, he may actually be a liability because he is becoming more and more entrapped by his own written and spoken words.
As Wile E. Obama increasingly gets sucked into Road Runner Beck’s Palin Trap, it will become ever more clear to White House hacks that a battle with Beck is not winnable. Which is why no one should rule out the possibility of the ever-lecherous, always ready to pounce, two-for-the-price-of-one Clintons challenging BHO in 2012 if his comrades in arms go down in flames in 2010.
I would suspect that the HillBillys think often of how Bobby Kennedy challenged Lyndon Johnson in 1968, causing Johnson to resign before Kennedy himself was assassinated.
Stay tuned … this is going to be better than Dynasty and Dallas at their best.

FABULOUS FABULOUS …..I giggled all the way through at the wit and wisdom therein…..
Thank you Mr.Ringer Sir…you are soo right….
“Would Obama survive a Bill O’Reilly interview.” you ask? Well, during campaign 2008, he did. Obama guested several times on “The Factor” and got no hardball questions from the host. We can and should question whether Obama would have appeared on the air with O’Reilly, had not the fix been in. After all, how many times has Obama guested with Rush, Dr. Michael Savage, Mark Levin, Tammy Bruce, and Laura Ingraham? They, unlike O’Reilly, still stand for something besides selling outtheir immutable values for a lavish payoff.
I am of the opinion that some Soros bag money showed up on O’Reilly’s front yard, a few weeks before the election, given that the theme of one of O’Reilly’s radio programs was “What Obamba needs to do to win the election.” And given that after Obama was entrenched in office, O’Reilly actually spouted the utterly laughable line: “We know Barack Obama has the best interests of America at heart.” Maybe Bill O’Reilly got a scoop there, and knows something we do not. Or just maybe Obama, with some help from choice friends, bought some key members of the media as ensurance against a Thomas E. Dewey-type folderoo, given the stirring Palin-led rallying of the America-first troops.
Let’s just hope we still have a recognizable country when we finally do get her in there.
Your article is so true and exactly as we Beck lovers see what’s going on. I trust Beck as a perfectly honest person.
We all should pray for his protection!
Mr. Ringer, I like the way you think! The left has made the same mistake with Road Runner Beck as they made with Matt Drudge a few years back, they attacked. People who never heard of Drudge or Beck started tuning in to see what all the hubbub was about, and almost instantly became converts.
The Republicans may be the Stupid Party, but the Democrats have a bad case of Foot-in-Mouth disease. I hope they keep attacking, I’ll sit back and enjoy the show.
BHO being interviewed by Beck reminds me of a similar pairing years ago. Someone asked a pundit why he thought Teddy Kennedy would never go on William F. Buckley’s “Firing Line.” Because, said the pundit, that would be baloney meeting the grinder.

Scary scenario.
But, first the context for this scary scenario.
It has been 100 years + since Progressivism began to dictate to American business, the folks who produce the goods and services that keep us alive. It began with Teddy Roosevelt, moved to Woodrow Wilson, resumed with a vengeance under FDR, moved to LBJ. And, now, at last, the Left has the chance to install economic dictatorship in America. As Blush Limburger said, They want to control us.
But, DaBomb is blowing it skyhigh. The American sense of life (individualist, suspicious of government power, and freedom-loving…as defined by America’s moral philosopher, Ayn Rand in an essay called “Don’t Let It Go!” in her book Philsophy: Who Needs It) remembers the Tea Party with Tea Parties of its own, remembers citizen participation at Town Halls and practices the right to assemble in Wash. D.C. to cry out against socialized medicine. DaBomb and the Left are about to lose their chance to rule.
What will the Left do in this desperate moment? Well, they have robbed banks, blown up government buildings, killed cops, kidnapped a big-name heiress and we cannot rule out murder.
Of course they will find a way to blame it on what they call a Right-Wing extremist. But, will they hesitate to make a martyr out of the American President who gave them their chance and then blew it?
Martyrdom, sympathy legislation, increased national security pressed upon the innocent American public, dictatorship ANYWAY.
Watch for it! The Left lusts for power over people so urgently that in this desperate moment, when they had it all in their hands, will they just watch it be snatched away by something so fickle as voter preference? No, no. They won’t give up so easily.
Who is prepared to deal with this? Who will be at our Beck and call? Better arm the American public by morally educating them with the case for freedom spelled out by that little, dark-haired Russian woman who escaped from Communism as it was in Russia and came to America to warn us about its roots in America, Ayn Rand.
No one is ever an ex-alcoholic or ex- drug addict. Beck is a loser. Ask any school-age child. They’ll tell you, “Drugs are for losers.”
Mr Bonter:
I agree that Mr. O’Reilly failed to ask the important questions in his interviews with that neo-liberal Johnny McCain or McCain’s neo-socialist opponent, Obama. I disagree that Mr. Soros had anything to do with it. Moreover, Mr. 0 probably would not change his overall strategy and style if granted a second opportunity. Why?
Mr. O’Reilly intends to keep the number one spot on Fox News by employing a polite Larry-King-Style of questioning for the important guests—you know, the important ones—like Obama— that he wishes to court.
Mr. O’Reilly will never go into one of his famous temper tantrums in an interview with Obama—-never—-unless some sort of Armageddon (Obamageddon) occurs. Mr. O’Reilly (aka Dr. Anger-on-Demand) will always look out for #1 by sticking to his strategy of browbeating lightweights and middleweights like Barny Frank; after all, this type of showmanship is good for ratings and “the folks” lap it all up like thirsty dogs lap up dirty water.
O’Reilly is now competing with Mr. Beck for viewers. Mr. Beck is a true believer who is on a crusade against corruption. Mr. Beck is playing the role of prophet-vs-Obama who is playing the role of saviour. It’s almost laughable to see and hear how Mr. Beck (aka John the Baptist/Bozo the Clown) projects himself on his radio and T.V shows. Mr. Beck reminds me of Burton Stephen Lancaster playing the role of Elmer Gantry—only Mr. Beck is not half the man Mr. Lancaster was. If you have not seen the movie Elmer Gantry, than may I suggest that you have a look. Too bad Beck doesn’t have the talent, animal magnetism, or the charismatic personality of Mr. Lancaster; but, right now Mr. Beck—sadly— is the best show in town ~~~Give me that old time religion, give me that old time religion, if it’s good enough for Beck, than its good enough for me~~~everybody sing it with me……..
Mr. Beck may or may not make history as a noteworthy individual. Personally, I would rather reread Human Action by Ludwig von Mises than listen to Mr. Beck’s sermonizing on corruption. Corruption is more durable and inveterate than most people think. Frankly, Mr. Beck’s predictions about an imminent shift in “the paradigm” is premature. When there is a major shift in ” the paradigm” the result will be a genuine revolution. I’m sticking to my belief that Obama’s presidency will end up like Carter’s did; which means the power base will shift back to the republicans. The result will be more muddling down the road to serfdom..The real trouble probably doesn’t start until the Baby-Boomers have almost all retired and the young are expected to support them.
In my assessment, Obama isn’t man enough to become a socialist dictator. That’s something that’s in America’s future, sometime after Obama. Yes one day America will collapse, then there’ll be hell to pay. Then, it’s likely that a strong-man/ despot who is the real deal will emerge that will make Obama look like a little back hand puppet of socialism.
A genuine despot is willing to put himself, his family’s lives, and millions of other’s lives on the line to achieve his goals. Obama doesn’t own those kind of stones~~~~Yes, I can see it all now, Obama refreshing The Tree of Liberty with blood; Yes, and Nancy Pelosi getting some of that blood on her finger nails~~~ Forget it…..lets keep it real, shall we. Those who are in power now are gutless wonders when it comes to the kind of violent repression it will take to turn America into a dictatorship.
If somebody put a gun to my head and said, “tell me Mr. Reality Seeker, when do you think America is going to crash and burn to the point of a real and bloody revolution?” I would tell them that it would be easier to predict the second coming of Christ Jesus; so please don’t ask me, ask Glen Beck—he knows……Or does he?
Mr. Ringer,
This my first post. I am a huge fan. About a year and half ago Jim Ziegler wrote an article in “Dealer” magazine recommending his readers buy an out of print copy of “Decline of Western Civilization” on Amazon, so I did. Aside from scaring the hell out of me, the book did have huge impact on my life in the time since. Even though the calamity you predicted did not come to pass, (though it still very well could) so much of what you wrote way back in then has happen. The collapse of the domestic auto industry, banking industry, the insolvency of Social Security and Medicare etc. I thought “How did he know all this?”
From there I read “Atlas Shrugged” and it all seemed to come together. We are suffering an “intellectual crisis” in this country. How is it that I went through 8 years of grammer school, 4 years of high school, 4 years of college and I emerged with barely a passing knowledge of our Constitution and the intellectual philosophy that our society was constructed. Well I’m learning it now and with the help of you, Fox News and conservative radio, (how about that Mark Levin guy?) this has been the most intellectualy satisfying time of my life. I writing to thank you for starting me on my journey of real enlightenment. I’ve since downloaded your ebooks and look foward every day to a Voice of Sanity post with my coffee. I just signed up for a login and password today so I hope to be contributing on a regular basis.
Anyway, regarding Glen Beck. I love how he is really getting under the skin of the elitist progressive Bill Maher. Each week Bill mentions him more and more in his derogatory way. Of course ole Bill never has an intellectual counter to Glen’s politics, just a lame insult that his audience laps up like every other utterance out of his mouth.
Last night Bill had his comrade in arms Michael Moore on the show. Aside from his usual distortions Moore actually put forth the notion that the opposite of Capitalism is not Communism but Democracy!!!! Huh?? I have to go back to rehear his confusing, convoluted rational for such a statement but I’m sure that even a passing follower of Ayn Rand could rip it apart in a few minutes.
Anyway, I have been meaning to write you for some time. Please keep up the good work. You are inspiring more people than you know.
Sean
Instead of using the initials “BHO”, let’s drop the “H”. That way we’ll end up with jut “BO”. And, of course, no one likes BO (excuse the intended pun)so we can truthfully say “BO HAS TO GO!
