People need to wake up soon and see what is happening. The air force one flyover of NY was such an obvious attempt to instill fear in people. The stimulus, the Health Care Reform are the same fear mongering. One of the few times I have seen the socialist side blink is at the town house meetings. When people get 3 or 5 friends together to keep each other up to date on what is happening, then respond as a group the VERY small group that is trying to control will continue to blink and back peddle. You think only 3 to 5? That’s because like the Gestapo being much smaller than they really were ( kind of like a puffer fish, just full of water or air to make itself look bigger than it really is) the Conservative side of the political isle is much Larger than we know. When there is an event that needs a conservative response with large numbers of people, your 3 to 5 will be joined with another 3 to 5 and so on. Continue to take cameras and videos. The good will not be aired on the news. Document and post. Most importantly, learn history. We can stop this but more people need to dig their heels in. Their time is short. Like the end of the nazi regime, this is the battle of the bulge. One last final push by evil to try and gain ground and control. Push back and resist with the truth and the lies will fall apart. I got immediate responses on at least 2 of my posts on the page, with one indicating the 'gentleman' got onto my personal site before firing back at me, apparently pulling some info that I can't imagine he could have gotten any other way. Seemed to think I should 'sell my boat; then maybe we can talk" (issues with my private property, how I spend my money???). Is this what our so-called 'Stimulus' money is going toward? Sounds like a note to my congressman is in order -- oh wait: ACORN is now a government-sponsored entity, right, having been given millions (billions?) to 'do what they do'(?). Sounds like what I hear happens in Cuba -- the citizen spies report on their neighbors, informing their 'superiors' of the fellow contrymen's contacts, behaviors, etc. Spooky stuff -- can it really be happening here??? Somehow we have managed to put into office individuals/criminals who lead us to believe they have this country's best interest at heart but in reality have only their best interest at heart. When it comes time to vote I keep hearing, "Don't waste your vote on him/her. They don't have a chance of winning!" And they are usually right. Why? Because too many people listen to that kind of claptrap and vote for the "Lesser of 2 Evils." Thus we continue to put criminals into office. Regardless of whether the candidate of my choice has a chance or not I will still vote for the individual I believe in. And I seem to be on the losing end every time. The litmus test for me would be to ask these individuals who so desperately want the office: 1. "Are you willing to serve in this office knowing that at the end of your term your income from the American Taxpayer will stop immediately. 2. "Are you willing to serve in this office knowing that you must find and fund your Retirement Plan from your own earnings and not one that is funded forever by the American Taxpayer?" 3. "Are you willing to serve in this office knowing that you must find your own health coverage and pay for it out of your own pocket rather than expecting th American Taxpayer to pay it for you for the rest of your life?" 4. "Are you willing to serve in this office realizing that if you knowingly and willfully make decisions that are deemed to be criminal you "will" face time in prison; and not a country club style prison but one with other hardened criminals?" If you can answer "Yes" to those questions you might earn not only my vote but my respect. However, since we all know this will not happen, you will earn neither my vote nor my respect. Have we, the average American citizen, accepted our fate and decided to not fight back? I fear that someday there will be bloodshed in our country because of the action/inaction of our govenment.
