Someone please direct me to a Ringer Rant on George's pet Patriot Act. You can't and you won't. My guess is that Mr. Ringer is getting old and parroting Glenn Beck and Ann Coulter is the best he can muster. As a fan since the '80s I miss the old clear-headed Robert.

Robert is always talking about freedom. There is an artificial shortage of health care professionals that keeps prices sky - high. Why does a $100K surgery in the USA cost $17K in Thailand or India - generally with US trained doctors.
I suggest we eliminate the FDA and allow the private market to regulate what drugs are safe. There is only an illusion of safety with FDA approval - obviously because of the many drug recalls.
And I suggest we let all the "kooks" practice any form of health care they can dream up - let the buyer beware. Poor health care providers won't survive. Who knows what alternate therapies will show up?

What’s missing in the health care debate is the position of true freedom: we have to end the monopoly of the AMA. I am not surprised to see the shameless behavior of the Obama Administration in trying to get their way in getting this piece of legislation passed. They were able to cloud their earlier socialist actions due to the terrible economic difficulties, which are in fact a shared pain between Bush and Obama. Unfortunately, that misery could be used to hide a really bad agenda -- a socialistic takeover of America.
I was particulairly struck by the two examples of their duplicitious behavior. Using a 7-year old and a college student to carry their water was despicable. This deserves continuous exposure until that "astroturf" and "mob" stuff is shown as the distraction it is intended. Americans should not be distracted, this group is dangerous to our grand experiment -- a democratic Republic -- where people have historically unprecendented freedoms.
