Does Anyone Get It Yet?, Part I
By Robert Ringer
I didn’t watch much news for a couple of weeks, because I found it frustrating that almost no one — not even the staunchest conservatives – seemed to get it. Today, however, I am happy to see that a handful of commentators are edging closer to acknowledging what is really happening to America.
Even Bill O’Reilly is now using the term socialism (though he still claims that BHO has “good intentions”). O’Reilly, you will recall, is the guy who, back in the good old days when Rev. Wright was entertaining us nightly, insisted “I don’t believe for a second that Obama shares the reverend’s radical views.” (If the latter is not a precise quote, it’s a close paraphrase of statements about Obama that O’Reilly has repeatedly made.)
Now that I’m back to watching the news, I’m happy to see that Sean Hannity, Karl Rove, and Newt Gingrich have begun to openly accuse BHO of lying. The other night, Hannity even used the word
Bolsheviks in reference to what the Obamacrats are doing to this country.
But Dick Morris is even closer to zeroing in on the BHO endgame. He has frequently stated that BHO is well aware that his policies will destroy the U.S. economy. And he’s right. BHO knows exactly what he is doing. Morris believes that transforming the U.S. into a socialist country is more important to BHO than winning a second term. Pretty good insight – but on that one, he’s still a step away from fully getting it.
I’ll get to what I mean by that in a second. But first, I feel compelled to say that in the Getting It Derby, Glenn Beck is ahead of the field by a solid margin. Beck just may be the most talented commentator in television history. Amazingly, he managed to overcome his drug and alcohol addictions, and is now one of the most well-informed and brilliant voices in the media.
What sets him apart from his equals is his ability to entertain and his fearlessness when it comes to speaking the unspeakable. However, since Beck switched to his natural habitat (Fox News), events in Washington have forced him to transition from an emphasis on humor to an emphasis on anger.
He is the only person on TV who talks openly about communism in the U.S., and yesterday he referred to BHO as “the master of misdirection.” I don’t know how long the government is going to sit by and allow Beck to feed raw truth to the public, but he is saying things that honestly make me fear for his life.
Even so, I’m not 100 percent certain that even Beck has taken that last step – the one Dick Morris is so close to taking. The step I am referring to is talking candidly to the public about the “D & W Factors” – the factors no one wants to think about, let alone discuss out loud.
For purposes of this article, I will zero in on the D Factor only: Dictatorship. This is the one area where I disagree with Dick Morris (i.e., that BHO is willing to be a one-term president in order to implement his socialist agenda). I don’t believe that BHO has any intention of being a one-term president. Quite the opposite, in fact. I think he much prefers the Hugo Chavez model: Take control, then move swiftly to create economic havoc and use it as an excuse to establish a dictatorship.
Now don’t go giving BHO credit for originality. He is the ultimate no-change president, but a very clever copycat. Getting elected and then using your powers to eliminate all competition is an old trick used by power-hungry thugs in countries large and small.
In Part II of this article, I’ll discuss just one example of where the transition from democracy to dictatorship was pulled off quite smoothly – and quickly – and the masses cheered as they marched happily down the road to serfdom.

I voted for BHO. However, I am clearly seeing the lies and deceit of this individual. He is already too far into private industry by asking the CEO of GM to step down. I believe he is swiftly positioning himself to be the first dictator of the United States. It will happen and indeed many people will be cheering for it!
Robert,
I attempt to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, although there’s always that highly irritable person that tests me on this. For this reason, I have a difficult time believing that Obama is intentionally destroying the American Way of Life. Still, you may be right.
Usually I attribute the political establishment’s follies to three facts.
1. Their insatiable desire for power.
2. Greed.
3. Ignorance of basic economic law.
Although Obama is obviously misguided, he seems like a nice guy. Of course, if you’re right about his intentions, this adds power to his weapons of destruction.
It seems (at least to a sane person) that power seekers would prefer to take over an economic system that still possesses some vitality. However, communists and socialists spout some pretty kooky ideas. Apparently, logic and reason are unwelcome in the socialist system they plan to impose on the rest of us.

Actually Glenn is worried about being taken off the air. Foxnews actually gives him slightly more protection then he would have gotten from Headline News when he was there.
That is why he is so focused on getting people to get their own knowledge by reading The 5000 Year Leap, The Real George Washington/Thomas Jefferson/Ben Franklin and other books like The Forgotten Man and Liberal Fascism.
From today’s show I’d say he is more concerned about the current leadership getting the US bound up in international treaties which would be harder to unravel then overthrowing a local dictator. Given the AG BO’s appointed, that seems more a threat then a dictatorship.
I had the exact same experience watching the news and agree that Glenn Beck is by far the best at getting to the truth. You wrote ” and allow Beck to feed raw truth to the public, but he is saying things that honestly make me fear for his life.” I guess I am naive but is our government at the point where we should fear for our lives because of speaking the truth? Can you provide more insight. Thank you for keeping us aware of the truth.
Mr. Ringer,
Have you read or heard Neal Bortz (he’s a Libertarian if that catches your interest)? I haven’t heard his radio program, but his book “Somebody’s gotta say it!” echoes a lot of your points, though in a less polite way.
“Never attribute to malice that which is more properly attributable to stupidity, but don’t rule out malice,” Robert A. Heinlein. (Forgive me if I don’t have the wording exactly right.)

BHO does not have much choice does he? It was the deregulation crazy Neo-Cons and the corrupt adminstration of Geo. ” stooge” bush and Dictator Dick Cheany that has brought us to the fork in the road where we have to choose between socialism or a benavelant dictator.
Perhaps Mr Glenn Beck would prefer to see food and gas riots, an social breakdown.
