I have to correct you there, Mr. Ringer. Nixon promised the South Vietnamese aid sould North Vietnam break the peace accords. It was the democrats in Congress who worked to remove that aid and then refused to allow American intervention during the final months of the war.

“Ditto with Republican Richard Nixon, though he did finally end the fiasco and leave behind millions of South Vietnamese to be at the mercy of the Viet Cong butchers.)”

I have to correct you there, Mr. Ringer. First of all, I like the new Liberty Education Series. In my opinion, you and Dick Morris saw Obama in a more accurate light than anyone else. And now you say there may be war. Let us hope not but you may be right and God help us all!

Robert,

First of all, I like the new Liberty Education Series. I'm sure you are, and I know I am, but still, time is running out. If anyone still has doubts about that, I should hope the recent release of the Department of Homeland security report would help open some eyes to where we're heading. Disagree with the government's new policies? Guess what, you're a Right-Wing Extremist! After today's TEA parties, I hope we don't see anymore "terrorist" actions any time soon!

It becomes more apparent every day, it’s time to either be careful what you say, or be ready for the consequences. I have been observing the breakdown currently occurring in Pakistan. The Pakistani government has pretty much ceded the Swat valley, and other villages are falling daily. The Taliban has closed and destroyed most of the schools, and forbidden the education of women.
The biggest perceived threat, the "card" that can be played to rally the US a la Roosevelt in WWII, and possibly a global threat, is that Pakistan is a major nuclear player. They truly do possess weapons of mass destruction. If the Taliban and their Al Quaeda friends can get their hands on fissionable material, it's a game changer. Or at least, it will be enough to create the kind of fear necessary to accomplish the fascistic moves you hint at.
All the best,
