Revolution, Part I

By Robert Ringer

As usual, the media is in ga-ga land as the Obamacrats tighten their grip around the throats of American serfs. While it’s tempting to write off the far-left power holders as fools or, perhaps, utopian dreamers, that would be a mistake. They are neither. They know exactly what they’re doing.

The objective of the Obamacrats is the same as that of every revolutionary group throughout history: to mesmerize the masses into ceding more and more power to them, ultimately resulting in a liberal fascist dictatorship. Amazingly, almost no one in the media seems to fully understand this, with the possible exception of Glenn Beck.

However, I do believe that Laura Ingraham, Michelle (The Magnificent) Malkin, and a number of other Fox TV contributors and guests (primarily on Beck’s show) are finally starting to zero in on the end game of the Obamacrats. Even Sean Hannity has crossed over some taboo lines by openly calling BHO a liar and referring to his agenda as socialist, but he still has a way to go.

BHO, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Dodd, and other leading members of Crime Inc. know full well that their first “stimulus package” has zero chance of improving the economy over the long term (and very little chance in the short term). Which is precisely what they want, because they believe that the destructive results of their massive wealth-transfer program will accelerate their true agenda.

The agenda I’m talking about is nothing less than absolute dictatorial power. What they hope their new spending bill (euphemistically referred to as a “rescue package”) will accomplish is to get enough voters addicted to government “benefits” to assure a permanent majority for themselves.

You may have noticed that, two paragraphs up, I said “their first stimulus package.” That’s because, as it becomes ever more clear that their original, phony stimulus package has actually made the economy worse, there will be many more government-spending packages waiting in the wings.

That’s right – I said many more. That first trillion dollars is but a small down payment on what is to come. Trillions of paper dollars will overwhelm our economy over the next four years, and almost certainly lead to the total destruction of the U.S. currency.

As BHO continues to hold town hall meetings in carefully selected, economically depressed areas-campaigning as though he were still running for president-more and more people will come to see him as the Money Messiah … a newer, slicker version of Rev. Ike. When that woman in one of BHO’s town hall audiences related her tale of woe to him and he warmly embraced her, it was like watching Jesus touch a blind man on the forehead to bestow upon him the gift of sight.

Give the man credit. He learned well from the Clintons, who are still gnashing their teeth over not having taken the slippery young upstart seriously early on. If you aspire to power, you have to be shameless – a trait BHO exudes. Theatrics must become a part of who you are.

Sure, you may know you’re lying, but to play in the big leagues with people as talented as the Clintons, you have to be comfortable with your lies. The lies have to become an integral part of your moral fiber. Otherwise, you won’t be able to tell them with panache. BHO has the panache of a high-level confidence man who painlessly relieves elderly women of their expensive jewelry.

In Part II of this article, we’ll take a look at what Glenn Beck, Jonah Goldberg, and one of the most notorious socialists in American history have to say about all this.

    Dear Mr. Ringer:

I am a Libertarian Conservative/Constitutionalist, and a registered Republican. I agree 110% with your criticism of the Left in general, and the “Obama Crew” in particular. That being said, you’ll get no sympathy from me, nor will any other Conservative/Republican as well. Here’s why: YOU could have openly endorsed the real phenomenon of this past election, as well as the ONLY AUTHENTIC CONSERVATIVE running for president, and you chose not to. Who was this candidate? Dr. Ron Paul… Champion of the Constitution. Hang your head in shame sir and beg forgiveness, as you have let a opportunity of a lifetime slip through your fingers, as did every other Conservative/Republican who professes a love for freedom, personal liberty, and personal responsibility. Good day Sir.

    Sincerely,

This is absolutely on target; however, I believe that the agenda is far larger than merely enslaving us [Americans and our illegal immigrants]. Instead, this is merely the “local” implementation of the New World Order, overcoming one of the major impediments [American freedom] to total world domination and dictatorship.

Remember Sweden? A generation ago, most of the really great creative stuff came from that charming country — Ericophones, Volvos and Saabs, Ingemar Bergman [not to mention Ingrid], ABBA, the “Scream”, etc., etc. Has ANYONE recently found ANYTHING creative to have been generated in the new, complacent, Swediish socialist welfare state?

    I didn’t think so! Now, that’s where we’re headed.

  3. One Eyed Guide says:

First, let me say that I admire Robert Ringer and think he has a lot of wisdom which I try to follow.

Unfortunately I just can’t agree that BHO financial plans are a threat to our form of government. Instead, they are a response to a much more complicated world than the one that originated Say’s Law. Today’s economic theories have basically one of two assumptions: the market can correct and lead to greatest growth (Austrian school or libertarian) or the market will occasionally result in suboptimal growth due to lack of demand which can be cured by government action (Keynesian or neoclassical synthesis).

The problem with the market correction theories becomes obvious in economies like today when there is a general slowdown in demand which causes forced unemployment due to a lack of jobs. In a normal economy people lose jobs and go someplace else in the country to find a job, perhaps at a lower salary. In the current situation there are no jobs at any salary so the labor supply must shrink. In theory this would be caused by people literally losing their jobs and starving to death (remember, there are no jobs at any level.) It’s generally considered poor social management to have people starving so modern governments will invariably step in with some sort of safety net program which will prevent the market from correcting naturally.

If the market correction theory won’t work because people will not be allowed to starve to death, responsible individuals need to work on a plan that might have a theoretically good outcome and this is what BHO is more or less doing (not that I think he has it all right yet.)

I’m not going to recommend any of the free market plans I think are workable, just suggest that for you to recommend a theory that ultimately will require mass starvation is not recognizing the real world.

    Robert -

You are doing your readers a great service by pointing out the coming flood of greenbacks will destory our economy, as we know it. BUT, finish your thesis – tell people what the alternatives are, starting with saving and investing in foreign currencies which move contra the direction of the U.S. Dollar. I am referring to the Aussie Dollar, the Euro Dollar, as well as the New Zealand Dollar (“Kiwi”) and the British Pound, These are safe havens for conversion of U.S. Dollars. The japanese Yen, the Canadian Dollar, the Swiss Franc, among others, are NOT safe havens for your american dollars, as these currencies move directionally consistently with the U.S. Dollar.

Just tell people to get the hell out of U.S. Dollar-denominated investments, and they will be alright. Gold bullion is also a smart way to go with investing, however not as liquuid as the paper foreign currencies, when it comes to quick exchange. FORTUNES will be made by American holding the above-recommended currencies, in the next few years, maybe even months. Time to get on the bandwagon now. Or suffer massive consequences, as most will.

I can see the power grab coming. Dose anyone think it was planned that a new TV show is about the US being a Monarchy? A dictatior ship in disguise? Someone said its to be bibical based…Hollywood will mess it up as usual.
I guess im not scared for myself but for my family, my childrens future. If it comes down to beans and rice and a shack to live in, so be it…but what about them. We at the low end of the economic scale and trying to improve but at times it feels like one step forward puts up two road blocks ahead to slow us down.
Loved your plan for economic stimulus! It would work too!

  6. rmeyer says:

    Robert,

I’m still not sure that Obama and company are purposely destroying the country to achieve absolute power over its hapless citizens. It’s possible that they are deluded by their own spurious socialist beliefs. As incredible as it may seem—they could be motivated by the best of intentions.

A student of history probably notices that individuals or groups of individuals who seize power—destroying economies and individual rights—quite often end up losing their heads. The agenda you claim Obama and company possesses appears to be self-destructive.

Personally, I would like definite proof that Obama and company are evil despots instead of just plain ignorant and greedy politicians. Otherwise, I have to conclude that they are acting out of total ignorance of basic economic law.

If you look at the state of affairs that preceeded the decline and fall of the Roman empire, it is difficult to look at our present day conditions and remain unconcerned. I am nearly 50 now, and I have watched the loss of freedoms escalate that have utterly escaped the naive or uninformed younger masses…poor dumb bastards, my father would have said.
Those who appreciate liberty and who understand what the disastrous but deliberate choices of this administation will bring about must surely see how our freedom is going to be further curtailed.
There is an old Chinese saying, “May you live in interesting times”. I’m afraid they are upon us.

Consider that the real plan IS to destroy the dollar. Then it will be easier to sell the idea of the North American Union and the new currency called the AMERO.

Robert Ringer is my favorite pundit out there, and I hesitate to ask for more “freebies” from here since I am thrilled he is doing this blog gratis. However, I would echo the sentimate above that it sure would be great to have more direction in terms of how to deal with this. Thank God I’ve read all his stuff many times and learned about gold and guns from his works. But would love to learn more — ideas about relocation (I know he tried New Zealand and apparently gave up on that place), more about self protection, jobs for the crumbling bricks and mortar, etc. Perhaps it is a new book, I don’t know. But bet there is a market for this. Anyway, thanks Robert for writing on. It’s good to know you are out there in cyberspace providing some perspective.

  10. Danlex says:

And here I was hoping this was the beginning of a revolution. That’s exactly what this country needs now, before it’s too late.

  11. MeMeMe says:

I’m wondering how anyone knows BHO’s agenda, when there is no indication what it is. I mean, yeah, he’d like his party to remain in power for years to come, but the means to that end are not visible. From where does Robert Ringer get his information? I’ll bet even BHO’s inner circle don’t think that he’s trying to bring about a dictatorship.

    One Eyed Guide

You seem to be a compassionate person who deeply desires to relieve the pain and suffering of others. However, I disagree with your statement “Unfortunately I just can’t agree that BHO financial plans are a threat to our form of government.”

It isn’t capitalism that has failed—but massive government interference in the marketplace that has failed miserably. Sound economic reasoning definitely proves the following.

    1. That socialism is an unworkable social system because once markets are abolished economic calculation is impossible. Socialism results in economic chaos and mass starvation.
    2. All government interference with voluntary exchanges only worsens the situation. Each intervention compounds the problem of the previous intervention—finally resulting in the economic crisis we are currently experiencing.

I’m sure that no libertarian wants to see people starve. In fact a libertarian advocates unhampered capitalism because he or she wants to see people prosper. Unless we turn back the tide of massive government intervention in the economy—unless we stop the stimulus madness—until we finally accept that we have to earn the values we so much desire—economic collapse and mass starvation is inevitable.

  13. Reality seeker says:

    One Eyed Guide,

I enjoyed reading your thoughtful views on economics, and I would like to comment on your statement that “It’s generally considered poor social management to have people starving so modern governments will invariably step in with some sort of safety net program which will prevent the market from correcting naturally.”

    I don’t agree that’s it’s “poor social management.”
It’s really poor personal management and poor family management most of the time, not all, but most.

True story: Once upon a time while I was living in Asia, I happened to be spending some time on the Cambodian border when I pondered an idea I call “Some people will breed themselves into poverty no matter how much of anything you give them theory.”

After giving food, cloths, fresh water, medicine, and money directly to numerous starving children ( whom I truly felt sorry for) and their families, I started to think deeply about what caused their plight and how I might help with the underlying cause. In my investigations, what I found was that bad government, war, climate, and poor economic conditions were not the main cause of so many children starving to death. After living with one of those poor families for nearly three months and learning about their perspective, I came to the conclusion that the main cause of so much of the rampant poverty was mainly due to a man and his wife[or his wives] breeding themselves and their offspring into starvation. ( i.e having wagon-loads of children with little or no resources to raise them.)

Moreover, no matter how much time, effort, and money that I spent in attempting to help, it did not, and would not, really solve the long term problem. The people themselves( how they thought and acted) were the main problem, and they simply did not want to change their foolish breeding habits or educate themselves.

Later, I traveled around the world and witnessed more abject poverty; then by chance I read the works of English political economist and demographer Thomas R Malthus which caused me to refine my view even further.

Now, I have come to firmly believe that if America gave all it’s wealth to the Third World, then they would just turn around and squander it—and simply breed themselves right back into poverty.

The theory can be applied right here in American. No matter how much you give, they will simply breed themselves( and you, if you let them) right back into poverty. Over the years this theory has been refined into the ” charity from government, group, or individual tends to fertilize the problem rather than solve it theory.” America the beautiful has become America the enabler of welfare cases.

I can’t begin to tell you how many starving children I’ve in my travels. Sometimes I still give, but mainly I just walk on by. Education is the key, if they would only listen. I focus my charitable donations on education now.

In conclusion, I truly believe that Americans should have been preparing themselves for a rainy economic day. Those who can’t feed their children should not expect the government to coerce me or anyone else into transferring money into their pockets. All such transfers should be voluntary even if the life of a child is at stake. If someone is unemployed and I decide to help, then fine, but don’t force me. I’m the “Decider.”
